Natalie Vance, a successful track record

Natalie Vance is a recent  Graduate Student with a BFA from the Academy of Art University. After she graduated, she ventured east to Columbus, Ohio, were she is currently working at the Abercrombie & Fitch home office at an Assistant Designer for A&F boys denim.

Prior to entering the “real professional world”, I was a fashion student aiming to develop a unique aesthetic as a designer. I dabbled in different styles of design, ranging from playing with transparent fabrics, to structured outerwear with intricate details.

Natalie has not only been interested in the creative side of the design, she also have studied the business side of the fashion industry. She worked two years at Banana Republic as a brand ambassador while she took several fashion business courses.

Having granted a scholarship with the YMA FSH Scholarship fund, she was introduced to several head recruits at Macy’s, Ralph Lauren, Kohls and Nautica as well as among others. Additionally, Natalie interned for the Concept Development team at Anthropolie.

I wanted to be a multifaceted designer, delving into the many sides of Fashion.

Working for Abercrombie & Fitch is the perfect outlet for which I can find another perspective into the fashion industry.
