INSPIRARE had the pleasure of interviewing Krystin Lee of Suburban Faux-Pas. She is a local, 20-something PR-savvy gal fro Toronto who started her fashion blog, Suburban Faux-Pas, in February of 2012. With an internship at Flare magazine and a PR/ Marketing background in the fashion industry, she was determined to express her sense of style which proves that regardless of one’s postal code (in or out of the city), style can prevail. Krystin has established brand partnerships with some of Canada’s biggest retailers and is a member of the Fashion Magazine Style Panel, contributes to Lucky Magazine and has been featured in a number of publications.

Where do you like to travel? Everywhere! Hoping to make it to Morocco next!
How did you start blogging? One part courage, two parts crazy. Who knew it would work?
What does fashion mean to you? It’s the most visible form of self expression and I love that you can change it from one day to the next.
If you could live anywhere, where would that be? New York in the summer and anywhere in California in the winter. I’m sick of snow!
Biggest inspiration: My mother

The shoe you should always have in your closet? A gold ballet flat
Who knows you best? My sissy
Favorite pastime: Reshuffling furniture around the house. I love mixing things up!
