The Team

    CEO & Founder, CFA, CPA

    MBA, Texas A&M University

I have a background in business and finance but in my spare time I love to travel, meet new people and delve into my obsession of photography. I am constantly searching for the next big challenge and believe patience is a virtue (although my 5 year old son often tells me I need more!)

I’m a big believer in what we are doing here at Inspirare and think it’s time for a fashion industry shake up. San Francisco is such a great place to nurture this idea, it’s a hub of innovation and creativity. We’re in good company.

    Technical Designer

MFA, Fashion Design, Academy of Art University

I am excited to be working with Inspirare and the talented team. I started working with clothing when I was very young and have had the opportunity to assist teams at corporate companies small and large, students, stylists, photographers, start-ups, fashion knitwear / t-shirt companies etc. Transforming the concepts in different shapes & forms into technical information needed for creating & developing garments for the runways, for photo shoots and for small or large productions.

At Inspirare, Tara transforms designers’ concepts into technical information to meet production needs and size standards for easy shopping on the Inspirare website. Helping to bridge the connection of talented emerging designers art expression into a wearable, produce-able, & sell-able garment.

  • Adrienne

    Executive Editor

Adrienne Glenn is Executive Editor of Inspirare Magazine. Prior to this position, which she began in January 2013, she spent two years as the Alternative Fashion Editor at BayFashion Magazine. Not only did she help grow this small fashion magazine into a competitor, she showcased and encouraged the world to see the beauty in models of all shapes and sizes. Also a freelance writer and journalist for multiple publications, Adrienne has had the opportunity to cover events and interview fascinating people from across the globe.

For nearly a decade, before she got into the world of publishing, Adrienne focused her sites on the plus size modeling world and became an internationally recognized plus-size model; it was then that she truly saw the fashion world from the inside out and learned many different facets of the industry. A lifelong lover of fashion, she naturally gravitated toward it; that was how she quickly became a vocal advocate for healthy body image and the dream to one day see the fashion world be pro-natural beauty and not just market to those under a size 8.

Adrienne hopes to continue to spread her love of fashion like an infection; showcasing all the sides of beauty, clothing and enlivening intellect throughout the thoughtfully crafted pages of Inspirare Magazine.

    Customer Service Manager

BBA, Marketing and Management, University of Houston

After barely leaving Kuala Lumpur where I was born for the first 19 years of my life, I made a huge leap by traveling half way around the world (literally) to Houston, Texas. At that stage I had one purpose in life, and that was an education. My parents had always done so much for me so I wanted to make them proud, and I did. I graduated with my BBA 3.5 years later and decided to stay a little longer to see how life would unfold and now I call Houston my home.

So far the journey has been interesting and full fulling, both personally and professionally. I’ve learnt my relentless positive nature and desire to embrace whatever life or work throws at me allows me to keep looking forward to what’s next.

I love having the opportunity to interact with Inspirare members on a daily basis and be directly involved in the new ideas they are exploring on the site.

    Business Development

MFA, Fashion Merchandising, Academy of Art University

With a business-oriented mindset, I started my story fashion as a design student 7 years ago. Many friends of mine thought I was crazy when they knew my decision. Most of them expected me go to a music school after I passed the highest level of national examination in piano, opera singing and music theory at the age of 14, but I decided to put a comma or a semicolon to give a small pause in my music chapter. I have bachelor degrees in fashion design and international economics & trading from my college in Shanghai. I’m passionate about fashion and more about the initiatives in fashion related business.

At Inspirare, I’m focusing on the merchandising and business development.

    Marketing

Master, Fashion Marketing, MOD’SPE, Paris, France

Freshly arrived from France, I fell in love with San Francisco and its positive atmosphere that makes you feel that nothing is impossible here. I studied fashion design and then graduated with a master in fashion marketing in Paris, and so I was ready to cross the Atlantic to draw inspiration and a new energy! You usually see me with my camera in one hand and something to eat in the other one – I’m curious about everything, greedy and always open to do something new.

Inspirare reflects all I love, breathing novelty in the fashion universe by believing in young creation. That offers me to combine my two sides of personality, mixing creativity and marketing by focusing on the European market. I’m glad to be a part of this exciting experience.

B.M. Vocal Performance, San Francisco Conservatory of Music

I am a native San Franciscan in the most literal sense. Though a lifelong fashionista, I grew up in the outer Mission District and decided at age six to pursue musical theater and opera. After over a decade of training, I attended the University of California, Irvine for my freshman year and promptly returned to my beloved city, transferring to the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and receiving my Bachelor’s of Music degree from there in Vocal Performance. While at SFCM, my love of fashion blossomed and I began interning at the San Francisco Opera Costume shop, quickly falling in love with fashion history, construction, and design. Since then, I have worked as a professional costume and fashion stylist, working with local musicians and vintage stores. I am so excited to join the Inspirare team, to offer my unique fashion perspective and love of all genres of art.
